Booking Policies & Terms Appointment Reservations Your appointment time is reserved exclusively for you. Please arrive on time to ensure you receive the full length of your scheduled service. By booking an appointment with Luxe Skin & Beauty by Brooklyn, you acknowledge and agree to the following policies. ⸻ Deposits A deposit may be required to reserve select appointments. Deposits are applied toward the total cost of your service. Deposits are non-refundable, but may be transferred to one future appointment if you reschedule with at least 24 hours’ notice. Appointments canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice or missed without notice will result in the loss of the deposit. ⸻ Cancellation & Rescheduling We kindly ask for at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. Appointments canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice or missed without notice will result in the loss of the deposit. Clients with repeated late cancellations or no-shows may be charged up to 100% of the scheduled service at the discretion of Luxe Skin & Beauty by Brooklyn. Providing advance notice allows us the opportunity to offer your appointment time to another client and helps us continue providing exceptional service to all guests. Medical emergencies and unforeseen circumstances will always be considered on a case-by-case basis. ⸻ Late Arrivals Please arrive on time for your appointment. Clients arriving more than 10 minutes late may need to have their service shortened or rescheduled to avoid delaying other scheduled appointments. If there is not enough time to safely complete the scheduled service, the appointment may be considered a late cancellation. ⸻ Card on File A valid card on file may be required when booking appointments. Your card will only be charged in accordance with the cancellation and no-show policies outlined above. ⸻ Refund Policy Due to the nature of professional esthetic services, all services, deposits, gift cards, and retail product sales are final. If you have any concerns regarding your service, please contact Luxe Skin & Beauty by Brooklyn within 48 hours so we can discuss your concerns and determine an appropriate solution. ⸻ Children & Guests To provide every guest with a relaxing and personalized experience, we kindly ask that only clients receiving a scheduled service attend appointments unless prior arrangements have been made. ⸻ Health & Safety Please notify your esthetician before your appointment if you: * Are pregnant or breastfeeding. * Have recently started any medications. * Use prescription or over-the-counter retinoids. * Are using Accutane (Isotretinoin) or have used it within the recommended waiting period advised by your healthcare provider. * Have any allergies, skin conditions, or medical concerns that may affect your service. Your safety is our highest priority, and services may be modified or postponed if necessary. ⸻ Waxing Policy For your safety, waxing cannot be performed over skin that has been recently treated with retinoids, Accutane, certain acne medications, or other products or medications that may increase skin sensitivity. Please disclose all medications and skincare products during your consultation. Failure to do so may increase the risk of skin irritation or injury. ⸻ Agreement By booking an appointment with Luxe Skin & Beauty by Brooklyn, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these policies. Bridal Makeup: A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your wedding date and will go toward your total service balance. Your appointment is not reserved until the deposit is received. The remaining balance is due 14 days prior to the wedding date. All payments made are non-refundable. If the bride cancels: • Cancellations made more than 30 days before the wedding will not owe the remaining balance, but the deposit remains non-refundable. • Cancellations within 30 days of the wedding are responsible for 50% of the remaining balance. • Cancellations within 14 days of the wedding are responsible for 100% of the remaining balance. Reschedules are subject to availability and are not guaranteed. I understand emergencies happen and will always do my best to work with clients when possible. In the unlikely event that I am unable to perform services due to emergency or illness, all payments made will be refunded.
